What Would Be My Payment?

Today I had a potential Homes for Heroes client ask me what his payment on a condo would be. He’s a police officer looking at purchasing his first place in the next few months. I referred him to the Mortgage Broker I reguarly work with. Yes. That’s a non-answer and didn’t give him what he was looking for… but I’m not a Mortgage Broker. I don’t want to give him bad or inaccurate information. He also asked if he had to put 20% down and for that I said “no”. I told him I was fairly confident that he could get a loan for 5% down but that he had to check on that as well. See, I’m a Realtor. I help people buy and sell their homes. That’s my expertise. I know a little about interest rates and loans, but just enough to get me into trouble. I know when to back off, and let a true professinal help. Buying or selling a home is one of the biggest events in your life and a serious investment. You need to have repututable, honest, and knowlegedable people helping you with this. That’s why I am going to give you the name(s) of people I trust and have worked with me, or my associates, before. Likewise, if I come across something with one of my client’s deals that I am unfamiliar with, I’m going to talk to my colleagues, my managing broker, and any other experts so that my clients are well taken care of. So if you want to know what your payment would be…. give me a call. I’ll put you in touch with a trusted person. And when you are ready to buy, or sell, I will be that trusted person for you. >>>>>>>> Dana
