Ben and Jaime were referred to me by Homes for Heroes. Ben had gone onto the www.homesforheroes website and asked for an affiliate realtor and mortage officer in their area. I met them by phone/text and discussed their timeline. Ben had already been approved for a mortgage so he was a step ahead in the game. Jaime found a place she wanted to look at and I met them there. Afterwards, we met for coffee and went through the process of finding a place for them. They signed an exclusive-right-to-buy with me, the contract that allows me to show them homes and work with them. The following weekend, we drove around and saw another 5 places. They really liked one of the condos we saw and made an offer. It was accepted and they were on their way to becoming first-time home buyers.
